Week of December 12



Gloria competes in bowling and softball for the Spartans. She has earned spots on a number of All-Tournament teams. Her GPA is a perfect 4.0. Gloria takes several advanced classes, is active in Boardman's music program, as well as other clubs and organizations.


Week of December 5

QUENTIN STOKES - Warren Harding


Quentin is a senior who has won 3 varsity letters in the Raiders swimming program. He's part of the 200 meter freestyle relay team which owns the school's pool record time and qualified for District competition. Quentin is taking a number of college credit classes while compiling a 4.048 GPA. He ranks 10th in his class. Quentin is also part of Harding's highly renowned Robotics Team.


Week of November 28

FRANK CENTOFANTI - Springfield Local

Frank is a 3-year letter winner for the Tigers football team and is working on earning his second varsity letter in basketball. Frank has already earned a place in the Springfield Academic Hall of Fame. He's carrying a 4.0 GPA while taking a number of advanced placement courses and being active in Science and Spanish clubs.

Week of November 14



Natalie is a senior with a 3.85 GPA. A member of National Honor Society, she is also active in Key Club and Spirit Club. Natalie has won 3 letters in volleyball and is working on her 4th letter in basketball. She also has done some special tutoring of a classmate who was battling cancer and has participated in several other community service activities.


Week of November 7


Miranda is the first competitor from Badger High to win the Scholar-Athlete Award and is also the first freshman to win it. Miranda is used to winning. She was undefeated in conference cross country meets this fall. She ran a new school record time during the season and qualified for the State Championship meet. Miranda is also a winner in the classroom with a perfect 4.0 GPA so far.


Week of October 31



Dra is a junior who quarterbacked the Leopards' football team and is a key performer on their basketball team. He's been on the Honor Roll since his freshman year. His current GPA is 3.565.

Sydney, a sophomore, and her sister Hannah, a senior, won the Division I tennis doubles State Championship. It as Hannah's 4th consecutive trip to State. She's a 4-year letter-winner. Sydney is a 2-year letter-winner. She has a 4.07 GPA; Hannah's GPA is 3.93.


Week of October 17


Morgan is a senior at LaBrae. She has a 3.73 GPA. Her schedule includes honors and college credit classes. She has an impressive list of academic and athletic achievements and is involved a several extra-curricular and community service activities. Morgan has been a 3-year starter on the Vikings' volleyball, basketball, and softball teams.


Week of October 10

ROBB LEWIS - Boardman


Robb has a 4.0 GPA in his senior year at Boardman. He's a 4-year starter and 2-time All-District performer on the Spartans' soccer team. He's active in drama and music programs with the goal of acting, writing, and directing.


Week of October 3


Kenzie is a 4-year letter-winner in tennis. She's won 2 letters in track and 3 in cheerleading. Her list of academic achievements is long and impressive. Her GPA is 4.047. Kenzie has also found time to be involved in student government and other clubs and organizations as well as compiling over 150 hours of community service.


Week of September 26


Makayla competes and has won multiple awards in volleyball, basketball, and track. She is also captain of the varsity football cheerleading squad. Makayla is active in several other school clubs and organizations as well as performing volunteer work. She has a perfect 4.0 GPA and is ranked #1 in Girard's senior class.


Week of September 19


Casey is a senior at South Range. She is the first soccer player to score 100+ goals for the Raiders. She is also the program's career leader in assists. Casey has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA, is a member of National Honor Society and serves on Student Council.


September 12

ERIC OSTROWSKI - Jackson-Milton

Eric is a 3-sport competitor for the Blue Jays. He was an All-State performer in baseball last season. He also plays basketball and golf. Eric is carrying a 3.95 GPA with a curriculum heavy on math and science courses.
