More Ohio BMV Services to be Available Online

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Several services for drivers in Ohio will soon be available online, saving a trip to the BMV, and eliminating the need to wait in line.

Beginning Monday, June 27th, drivers will be able to renew their driver's license online. It will be available to those age 21 to 65, who already have a four-year Ohio driver's license.

The written portion of the driver's test will also soon be available online.

Also, beginning July 11th, drivers will be able to transfer a title online, without having to visit a local BMV office.

Ohio Lieutenant-Governor Jon Husted says the moves will save drivers millions of hours and trips to the BMV.
