A California teen who’s battling cancer had his dream come true, thanks to Make-A-Wish.
Talon Bonanno, 15, was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in 2017 and has been through years of chemo, radiation, surgeries, and stem cell treatments, but he got out of the hospital this week just in time to see his dream car refurbished.
With help from Make-A-Wish and Edwards Collision Studio, Talon got what he’s always wanted: his red Eagle Talon refurbished.
The teen and his family had a Sacramento County Sheriff escort as they headed to Jesuit High School, where Talon is a student and hundreds of his friends, classmates, and family members were there to welcome him in his revamped ride.
As a kid, Talon said he would own the car that shares his name and now he does, thanks to Make-A-Wish.
