7 Reported Dead In Mass Shooting at Buffalo Supermarket

A suspect is in custody and multiple people are dead after gunfire rang out Saturday afternoon at a popular supermarket in Buffalo, N.Y.

A suspect wearing military-style gear opened fire with a rifle outside and inside of the 'Tops Markets' on Jefferson Street in the city about 2:30pm although Buffalo Police are not saying how many people were shot, only referring to the incident as a 'mass shooting.'

NBC News reports at least 7 people have been killed in the tragedy while two more people are in critical condition. One witness says she heard at least 70 shots before she was able to exit the back of the building. The motive and case remains under investigation.
