Officials at Major League Baseball are looking at starting the 2020 season exclusively in Arizona at spring training complexes.
According to sources, the games would be played in empty stadiums with no fans to limit exposure to the coronavirus.
MLB is considering holding the games only in Arizona, because it has the highest concentration of spring training sites, including Goodyear Park, which is the home of both the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians.
Most medical experts say the plan is not feasible as it would bring all MLB players into one centralized location and actually increase their chances of catching COVID-19.
