After a little girl’s toys were stolen during a burglary at her Greenwood, Indiana home, police officers went above and beyond to replace them. Officer A.J. Calvert responded to the call about the break-in and found that among other items taken, four-year-old Evelyn had her Shopkins toys stolen and she was pretty upset about it.
Greenwood police say Officer Calvert asked coworkers and friends if they had any Shopkins to donate to Evelyn and he collected those, along with donations to buy her new toys. Officers Calvert and Tompkins went shopping to replace the little girl’s toys and dropped them off in a special delivery right before her birthday.Source:The Indy Channel
