She was just on vacation in the Philippines last week with her boyfriend. All seemed to be going swimminglyuntil she went out onto the beach in her bikini.
Actually, a bikini isn't really the right description for what she was wearing. It was just a few pieces of string with the smallest possible amounts of material covering the most sensitive zones.
The hotel staff told her not to wear it out but she did anyway. So when she wore it again the following day, they called the cops and of course, she was arrested for lewdness, which carries a fine of around $48.
A state-run news agency says Lin and her boyfriend said the bikini was, quote, "a form of art" and that, "It's quite normal for us in our country." However, they weren't in their country.
