Ohio lawmakers are reacting the announcement of an electric car battery plant coming to Lordstown, months after a General Motors plant shut down.
Congressman Tim Ryan is praising the decision, saying it's amazing news for the Mahoning Valley and that electric vehicles are the way of the future.
Senator Rob Portman says he applauds GM for the announcement, but is disappointed the product won't be made at the city's defunct Chevy Cruze plant.
Senator Sherrod Brown also commented on the project, saying he wished GM made a better investment by saving more jobs.
